Woof & Tumble Soft Play Terms & Conditions

Woof & Tumble Soft Play Terms & Conditions

Woof & Tumble Soft Play Terms & Conditions

Mansfield Canine Centre Ltd

Effective from 14 October 2026
Version 1.3

These service-specific Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings for Mansfield Canine Woof & Tumble Soft Play, including private Soft Play sessions, party and event hire, and other activities taking place within the designated Soft Play areas.

These terms should be read together with the Mansfield Canine Centre General Booking Terms & Conditions. Where these terms deal specifically with the Soft Play service, these service-specific terms take priority.

  1. Private bookings and attendance

Woof & Tumble Soft Play bookings are private for the group included in the booking. Other customers and dogs will not be intentionally placed into the Soft Play area during your booked session.

At least one responsible adult aged 18 or over must be present throughout every booking and is responsible for all dogs, children and other people attending as part of their group.

The number of dogs attending must match the option selected and paid for when booking.

Customers must not exceed the maximum number of dogs or people permitted for their selected booking option without prior agreement from Mansfield Canine Centre.

Please contact us before attending if you need to change the number of dogs or people included in your booking. Changes are subject to capacity, availability and any applicable additional charge.

  1. Session times

Your Soft Play session is for the specific duration selected and shown in your booking confirmation.

Your booking begins and ends at the times stated in your booking confirmation. Customers must leave the Soft Play area by the scheduled end time so that the facility can be prepared for the next booking.

Any time reserved before or after a booking for cleaning, resetting equipment or safety checks is for Mansfield Canine Centre use and does not form part of the customer's booked session.

Late arrival will not normally extend the scheduled end time.

If you arrive early, please wait in reception, browse the shop or follow staff instructions until the Soft Play area is ready for your session.

  1. Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellations and requests to reschedule are subject to the Mansfield Canine Centre General Booking Terms & Conditions.

The cancellation notice period and any applicable refund arrangements will be those stated in the General Booking Terms & Conditions and/or shown during the booking process.

Late arrival, failure to attend or failure to use the full duration of a booked session does not normally entitle the customer to a refund or extension.

  1. Dog health and suitability

Dogs attending Soft Play should be fit and well enough to take part in active play.

Dogs must not attend if they are unwell, have a potentially contagious condition, or have an injury or medical condition that could reasonably be made worse by play.

We recommend that dogs are appropriately vaccinated or titre tested. Customers choosing to attend with a dog that is not vaccinated or titre tested accept that facilities used by multiple dogs can carry an increased risk of exposure to infectious illness.

If you are unsure whether Soft Play is suitable for your dog because of their health, age, mobility or another medical consideration, please seek appropriate veterinary advice before attending.

Mansfield Canine Centre may refuse or stop a session if we reasonably believe that continuing would be unsafe or unsuitable for a dog, customer, member of staff or other person.

  1. Nervous, reactive and aggressive dogs

Nervous and reactive dogs are welcome to use Woof & Tumble Soft Play because sessions are private.

Please remember that other dogs may still be present elsewhere at Mansfield Canine Centre for other services.

If your dog is nervous, reactive, aggressive or has a history of behaviour that could create a safety risk, please tell us before attending so that appropriate arrangements can be discussed.

A separate entrance may be available by prior arrangement where this would help reduce contact with other dogs or people.

Customers remain responsible for ensuring their dog is safely managed when entering, leaving and moving through the centre.

  1. Leads, muzzles and public areas

All dogs must remain on a suitable lead and under appropriate control in public or customer-access areas of Mansfield Canine Centre, including the shop, reception, car park and routes between service areas.

Please do not allow your dog to approach another dog in public areas without the agreement of the other dog's owner, even where both dogs appear friendly.

Owners of dogs subject to legal restrictions are responsible for complying with all current legal requirements and any conditions attached to an exemption or other legal permission.

Where a dog is legally required to wear a muzzle or remain on a lead in public areas, these requirements must be followed when entering, leaving and moving around Mansfield Canine Centre.

Leads and muzzles may only be removed once the dog is inside the secure Soft Play area where this is legally permitted and appropriate.

Mansfield Canine Centre may request reasonable evidence of legal compliance where necessary.

  1. Supervision and safe play

Dogs must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Customers must intervene where necessary to prevent unsafe play, inappropriate use of equipment, damage or behaviour likely to cause injury.

Customers are responsible for deciding whether individual activities and pieces of equipment are suitable for their dog's size, age, ability, confidence and physical condition.

Dogs should not be forced or encouraged to use equipment where they appear frightened, uncomfortable or physically unable to do so safely.

Customers must follow reasonable staff instructions and any safety notices displayed within the facility.

Access doors and gates must be used carefully to prevent dogs escaping.

Customers must not open an access door or gate while dogs are loose where doing so could allow a dog to leave the secure area.

  1. Children

Children are welcome to attend Woof & Tumble Soft Play but must be closely supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

The Soft Play equipment is designed primarily for dogs. Where a child uses, climbs on or interacts with any equipment, the supervising adult is responsible for deciding whether this is appropriate and safe for that child.

Children must not interfere with dogs while they are eating, resting, showing signs of discomfort or engaging in play where their involvement could create a safety risk.

Children should be encouraged to behave calmly and appropriately around dogs, particularly when multiple dogs are attending.

Any legal requirements relating to children and legally restricted dogs must also be followed.

  1. Care of the Soft Play facility

Please treat the Soft Play equipment, toys, indoor and outdoor areas and other facilities with reasonable care.

Normal wear and tear is expected. However, dogs must not be allowed to deliberately chew, bite, pull apart or repeatedly damage Soft Play equipment.

Customers should redirect or stop destructive behaviour promptly.

A reasonable cleaning, repair or replacement charge may be applied where excessive or avoidable damage is caused through deliberate misuse, negligence or failure to supervise. Any charge will reflect the reasonable loss or cost incurred.

Please report damaged, wet, unsafe or heavily soiled equipment to a member of staff as soon as possible.

Serious or repeated misuse of the facility, deliberate damage or abusive behaviour towards staff may result in a session being ended and/or future bookings being refused.

  1. Toileting and cleaning

A cleaning station and waste bins are provided.

Customers must clean up after their dogs promptly and dispose of waste appropriately throughout the session.

Please tell a member of staff if your dog toilets on, heavily soils or contaminates equipment or an area that requires additional cleaning or disinfection.

Customers should not attempt to use cleaning chemicals or equipment belonging to Mansfield Canine Centre unless instructed to do so by a member of staff.

Please leave the facility in a reasonable condition for cleaning and preparation following your session.

  1. Food and dog treats

Only suitable dog-safe food and treats should be given to dogs within the Soft Play area.

Customers remain responsible for deciding whether any food or treats they bring are suitable for their dogs, including where a dog has an allergy, intolerance or other dietary restriction.

Food should not be left unattended or where dogs can access it unsupervised.

Where multiple dogs are attending, customers should consider whether using food or treats could cause guarding, competition or conflict between dogs and should manage their dogs accordingly.

Mansfield Canine Centre accepts no responsibility for adverse reactions to food or treats supplied by the customer unless otherwise required by law.

  1. Parties and events

Party and event hire is subject to the capacity and booking option selected at the time of booking.

Human food, birthday cakes and party food are permitted only in areas designated or agreed for that purpose.

Customers are responsible for supervising food and ensuring dogs cannot access anything that may be unsafe for them.

All rubbish, decorations and party materials must be placed in the bins provided or taken away at the end of the booking unless a different arrangement has been agreed in advance.

Any decorations or equipment brought into the facility must be safe and suitable and must not damage the premises or create an avoidable risk to dogs or people.

Customers must ensure their party or event finishes within the booked session time unless an extension has been agreed with Mansfield Canine Centre.

The number of dogs and attendees must remain within the limits of the selected booking option unless otherwise agreed in advance.

  1. Outdoor Soft Play area

Where included with the booking, the outdoor Soft Play space is available subject to weather, maintenance and safety conditions.

Mansfield Canine Centre may close or restrict access to the outdoor area during extreme heat, severe weather, icy conditions, maintenance or whenever we reasonably consider its use unsafe.

Seasonal features such as paddling pools, sprinklers or other outdoor activities are not guaranteed and may be unavailable depending on weather, season, maintenance or operational requirements.

The temporary unavailability of an outdoor or seasonal feature does not normally entitle the customer to a refund where the main Soft Play facility remains available for use.

  1. Normal risks of Soft Play

Soft Play is an active canine activity and involves normal risks such as slips, falls, bumps, scratches, collisions and interaction with play equipment.

Customers should consider their dog's fitness, confidence, behaviour and physical ability before allowing them to undertake particular activities.

Customers and other attendees should move carefully around the facility and take appropriate care when using or walking around play equipment.

Mansfield Canine Centre is not responsible for loss, injury or damage that could not reasonably have been foreseen or that arises from a customer's failure to supervise, disclose relevant information or follow reasonable safety instructions.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

  1. Photography, video and marketing

The photography and marketing provisions contained within the Mansfield Canine Centre General Booking Terms & Conditions also apply to Soft Play bookings.

Photographs or video may occasionally be taken during visits and may be used, where lawful, for Mansfield Canine Centre websites, social media, advertising, promotional materials or other marketing purposes.

If you do not want yourself, a child or another person in your party, or your dog to be included in photographs or video used for media or marketing, please tell a member of the Mansfield Canine Centre team before or during your visit.

We will respect reasonable opt-out requests.
